Opening Doors with the Right Keys
- Meritocracy illuminates dark rooms; by matching the right skill with the right task, the right method with the right problem, the right effort with the right gravity, and the right answer to the right question. -
We must swiftly replace "one person, one vote" with a weighted voting-system: one that takes into account all relevant variables! The fact that an 18yo has the same leverage as a 70yo Professor of Government is subversive, delusional and demoralizing.
Voting Policy
Humanity is just 1 of the 8,7 million species on Earth. It's time we share it fairly, and use our powers responsibly. Unfortunately, we have triggered the sixt great mass-extinction. We are living in an "end times" of our own creation.
Ecological Policy
Solar and Nuclear energy are the most promising alternatives. Wind power is unsightly and disruptive to birds, Wave energy terrorizes fish. Geothermal has great promise, though drilling technology is still at a primitive stage (we need nanotech).
Energy Policy
Reproductive politics is either eugenic or dysgenic: the middle-way is just status-quo! DNA predetermines every single cell in your body, from the health of your heart to the power of your brain. We can progress or descend, the choice is ours.
Health & Genetic Engineering Policy
All policies on immigration must be sustainable, legitimate, holistic, and meritocratic. Any deviation from that will only breed failure, xenophobia, and conflict. More, rich countries have no right to rob the weak of it's top human resources.
Immigration Policy
Healthcare costs will always rise parabolically towards the end of a mortals life. That is just as true now, as it will be in year 2700. Hence, to avoid collapse, sustainable societies will institute policies grounded in the realities of life; including the acceptance of mortality.
Healthcare Economics Policy
The tragedy of man is that, even when the rules of the game have changed, he continues playing the old familiar game. It's this inability to change, this fetish of status-quo, that is behind the fall of man (individually and collectively).
Innovation & Change Policy
All public officials should be leading experts, theoretically or practically, in their respective fields. This is based on the same logic that impels us to demand that field experts build bridges, drive airplanes, and do our dentistry.
Governmental Human Resource Policy
While we are globalists, we are disgusted by the indolence and hubris of the current incumbents. In order to sell anything, you need to offer more carrots than sticks. The acidity of contemporary globalism is eating-away at its foundations.
International Relations Policy
TRUST is the most important asset for any civilization, and it's easiest to trust people you have much in common with. Hence, we are in favor of cultural homogeneity: a common religion, purpose, and language would do inestimable good.
Cultural Policy
Student debt should be repaid as a percentage of post-graduation monthly income. That would greatly discourage the mass-manufacturing of useless degrees. One thing is certain, the current system is undermining the utility of learning.
Educational & Employment Policy
Politicians only accountable to the short-term, will only solve short-term problems. Cans will be kicked down the road, and ultimately accumulate to form an insurmountable wall.
